We are a non-profit association promoting Birth and Postpartum Doula support for families in British Columbia.
Awareness
The DSA's mission is to raise awareness about the role of Birth and Postpartum Doulas, to provide a referral service to BC families, and to deliver continuing education to its members, health care professionals, and the public at large.
Training and Standards
All DSA Doulas have completed a DONA approved training course and are required to pursue ongoing education. The DSA also has a strict confidentiality policy, a standardized code of ethics, and standards of practice that are followed by all DSA Doulas.

DSA Birth and Postpartum Doulas are located in Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, Burnaby, Vernon, Victoria, New Westminster, Langley, Abbotsford, North Vancouver, Squamish, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Delta, Chilliwack, White Rock, Gabriola, Lytton, and many other communities across British Columbia.
